Breaking Chains Mental Health & Wellness
I founded Breaking Chains Mental Health and Wellness with a deep passion for helping individuals break free from the mental, emotional, and physical barriers that hold them back. With a firm belief that mental health and physical health is interconnected with overall well-being, I take an integrative approach to healing—focusing on the whole person, not just the symptoms. Founding Breaking Chains allows me the opportunity to focus on quality and not quantity, leading to better long-term mental health outcomes. I want clients to receive patient-driven, individualized care. It is my goal clients will feel more valued and receive more thorough, compassionate care due to the trust-based provider relationship.

As an experienced mental health nurse practitioner, I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, mood disorders, ADHD, and stress-related conditions. My approach is holistic and patient-centered, blending evidence-based psychiatric care with lifestyle modifications, nutrition, and mind-body techniques to create personalized treatment plans that empower my clients to achieve lasting wellness. My background in internal medicine provides the understanding of how mental health and physical health are deeply connected. My goal is to help you achieve balance through evidenced-based treatments, medication management (when appropriate), and compassionate listening. We will work together to develop strategies that empower you to regain control, improve resilience, and find peace in your daily life.
I understand that seeking help can be a challenging step, especially with the stigma surrounding mental health. That’s why I strive to create a judgment-free, compassionate space where my clients feel heard, understood, and supported. At Breaking Chains, my mission is to not only provide treatment but to equip individuals with the tools to reclaim their strength, resilience, and purpose.
When I’m not working with clients, I’m passionate about spending time with my husband and family, watching basketball, and pursuing more knowledge relevant to mental health. My favorite pasttime is making memories at the beach. Regardless of my activities, I am always striving to promote the message that mental health is just as important as physical health.

Keri McDaniels
Stigma. The word most often associated with mental illness. Hi y’all! My name is Keri Victory-McDaniel. I am an independently board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. Although a native of Arkansas I lived in Mississippi for 30 years before relocating to Jonesboro in 2023. I love Jesus, spending time with my family and dogs, traveling, going to the river, reading, sitting around a bonfire, decorating and drinking COFFEE!!!! My nursing career began in 2004 and I have a combined total of 20 years experience working in the mental health field including acute and residential care, CMHC outpatient, crisis unit, day treatment, corrections, private practice and a variety of grant funded programs for mental illness/SMI. My passion for providing mental healthcare is simple, I love people! Our mental wellbeing shapes and touches every single part of our lives.
I want to help those struggling, and perhaps in their most vulnerable moments, to shatter the silence and to live life to their fullest potential. Creating a nonjudgmental atmosphere of acceptance and understanding is what I strive to do at Breaking Chains! Understanding that everyone is unique and providing individualized treatment is of the utmost importance. As your clinician I utilize evidenced based practices through counseling and medication management to facilitate and promote growth and healing. Always remember, you are not alone!

Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, going for walks, playing basketball, and soaking up the sunshine. I am also an animal lover, with a special fondness for cats and my Australian Shepherd.
